Playful Learners
Our Pre-K programs:
At Kids Academy Preschool, our “Playful Learners” get to feed their natural curiosity through play and exploration. We offer two pre-k programs tailored to different developmental stages:
- Pre-K Class A (48-53 months): Activities focus on social-emotional growth, early literacy and math skills, and fine motor development. Teachers nurture curiosity and independence within a warm, nurturing environment.
- Pre-K Class B (54-59 months): The graduating class! Activities encourage critical thinking, problem solving, and kindergarten preparedness. Teachers guide children as leaders, collaborators, and confident learners ready for their next adventure into kindergarten.
Both programs buzz with active young minds in motion. Teachers design engaging hands-on activities – songs, stories, building, pretend play – that make learning joyful. Skills develop naturally as pre-k students create, move, socialize and explore their world. With guidance, they gain confidence to take on new challenges.
Kindergarten Ready
Our Pre-K Ages 4.5-5 years (54-59 months) program prepares children for the adventure of kindergarten. Activities encourage critical thinking, problem solving, and confidence. Teachers guide children as leaders, collaborators, and learners ready to thrive. This graduating class gets kindergarten ready through engaging play and skill-building.
Nurturing Natural Curiosity
At Kids Academy, our pre-k “Playful Learners” get to feed their innate curiosity and desire to explore their world. Our programs provide a safe, engaging environment where children can discover and learn through developmentally-appropriate, hands-on activities. Whether building, singing, reading, or pretending, our days are filled with joyful learning experiences that develop young minds.
Social-Emotional Skills
At Kids Academy, nurturing children’s social-emotional development is woven into everything we do. Through cooperative play, sharing, and forming friendships, pre-k kids learn essential relationship-building skills. With teacher guidance, they gain confidence expressing themselves, resolving conflicts, and being compassionate leaders. We get to know each child, their interests, goals and learning styles. Our warm community helps every child feel secure expressing emotions and personality. The social-emotional foundations built last a lifetime.
